Best Splash Pads in Baltimore

Summer is here and it’s time to play! Maybe it’s because they’re both summer babies, but our girls are water fiends! The beach, the lake, a pool, a splash pad – they don’t care, they love it all. Lucky for us, the Baltimore area has several great splash pad options. Here are the best splash pads in Baltimore!

Located in Columbia’s growing Merriweather District, this is a great spot for a hot morning or afternoon! Large pool chairs and umbrellas for parents, port-a-pot bathrooms, and lots of places to grab lunch. After splashing around for a while, head over to the Charmery for an ice cream treat!

This one is a little bit of a drive from Baltimore, but totally worth it! This park has a lot to offer to make a day of it. It’s fenced in and has plenty of shaded tables. In addition to the splash pad, there’s a jumping pillow and mini golf (additional fee). The park is stroller friendly, has bathrooms, and vending machines.

Muddy Run, Holtwood, PA

Hours of operation: 10AM – 8PM

Fee: Free!

This one isn’t even in Maryland, but if you’re in the Baltimore area, it’s worth the drive! At a little over an hour drive, it’s just across the PA line, and it’s a blast! It’s located inside of a campground, which is a little unexpected, but it’s great. The splash pad is stroller friendly, they have bathrooms, and plenty of trees for shade. Pack a picnic and make a day of it!
