I’m kind of picky about where we shoot because there are some elements that I always look for, but I promise that whatever style you’re looking for, I can recommend a beautiful place or two!

Beaches

If you want a coastal, relaxing setting for your Maryland family photo session, the beach might be the right place for you! Consider the time of year and day of the week for your session – this type of location will definitely be more populated during a warm summer weekend. This doesn’t rule out a beach location, just something to keep in mind!

Examples: Downs Park, North Point State Park

Forests

If you’re a little more adventurous, a forested location could be a good fit for your family. This type of location typically involves a little bit of walking to get to the best spots, but that’s okay! We can still play and photograph along the way. Another beautiful perk of this type of location is the autumnal colors if that’s your jam.
