Last fall, I knew I needed help growing my business. A photographer I admire shared about open applications for her mastermind coaching program, and I decided to take a chance.

Within a couple of weeks of applying, I paid my fee and was in! Not gonna lie, it felt like a risky move!

In January, we started once weekly Zoom meetings. She helped us refine our reason for building our business and who we want to serve. She helped me work through things I’ve been holding on to (and have had a hold on me) for 30 years. She taught us marketing and strategy.

The last five months have been a whirlwind and I’ve learned so much – about being an artist, about being a better business owner.

Last week, our coaching culminated in a two day in person retreat. I met my cohort members I’ve been learning with for months. I tested out (dreamy) new gear thanks to Canon, and participated in several teaching photo shoots.

The experience has changed me irrevocably. Here’s a little look at my time in Seattle!
