Earlier this month, I attended the Baltimore Birth Festival as a vendor and it was a great experience! If you’ve never heard of this incredible event, it’s a family-friendly gathering of so many great resources for pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting in the Baltimore area. I attended the first festival back in 2019 as a first time mom and I found it incredibly helpful to learn of the many providers that work to support expecting and postpartum moms and their partners. The event is organized by Maryland Families for Safe Birth, who do advocacy work in the state to support more evidence based policy and legislation. So cool. #birthnerd

I met lots of sweet families, connected with so many birth/postpartum workers, and got to reconnect with women who supported me through my second pregnancy and homebirth. It was awesome! I have some plans in the works for an upcoming event for local expecting mamas and I can’t wait to share more. If you’d like to get early access to that info, you can always join my newsletter.
